Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 7 September 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
The Environment & Sustainability Unredacted app and its content are provided by Adib Ibrahim (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, purchasing access or continuing to use the app, you agree to these terms. If you are using the app on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age to enter into this agreement.
2. What we provide
The app is a digital edition of the book Environment & Sustainability Unredacted: a reference library of structured entries, comparisons, sector scenarios, decision flows and quick reference material, together with search, bookmarks and reading progress. Parts 01 and 02 are free to read; the remaining parts require a one-off purchase or a valid printed access code.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Printed access codes may be redeemed once, by one account, and may not be resold or shared.
4. Licence and restrictions
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and read the content for your own personal or internal professional use. You must not resell, redistribute, republish or systematically copy the content, reverse engineer the app, or circumvent any technical or access limits.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the app. In particular you must not:
- use it for any unlawful purpose;
- engage in fraud, spam or abuse of access codes or discounts;
- infringe our intellectual property or that of others;
- introduce malware, probe, scan, scrape or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the service.
6. Intellectual property
All rights in the app, its software, text, illustrations, structure and branding remain with Adib Ibrahim or the respective rights holders. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
7. Nature of the content — no professional advice
The content is educational and interpretive. It explains language, logic and liability in environmental, sustainability, governance and compliance settings, but it is not legal, regulatory, financial or other professional advice, and standards and legislation change over time. You remain responsible for decisions you take and should verify anything you rely on against the current primary sources.
8. Service level
We aim to keep the app available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Payment, billing and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for our money-back guarantee.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment or chargeback, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the app at any time and ask us to delete your account; content you purchased will no longer be accessible once your account is deleted.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the app is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the app, content you submit, or your breach of these terms.
13. General
You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
